Grand Canal Square nears completion
Ryde Developments’ 1 Grand Canal Square in Dublin Docklands, is due to be completed in June 2006. The five-storey building provides about 9,755 sq m (119,119 sq ft) of office space and 1,950 sq m (20,990 sq ft) of retail space on the ground floor. The letting agent is Palmer McCormack.
Revamped Justice offices for Xmas
The former offices of the Irish Justice Department at 75 St Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2 are being refurbished and will be ready to occupy in during December 2005 and will provide approximately 9,195 sq m (98,974 sq ft) of space. The letting agent is Jones Lang LaSalle.
Hanover Quay to start
Work will soon begin on the new office scheme at 5-7 Hanover Quay, Dublin 1. The development will provide 6,371 sq m (68,577 sq ft) of office space and a main contractor will be appointed within the next 4-6 weeks. The office will be completed to ‘Cat A’ during late 2006.
Completion for Clarendon Group
The Clarendon Group’s redevelopment of 34-35 College Green, Dublin 2, is expected to complete during the next 6-8 weeks. The mixed office & retail development also backs onto Suffolk Street and will provide 2,198 sq m (23,659 sq ft) of office space. The architect is James Toomey and the main contractor is Rohcon. The letting agent is Hamilton Osborne King.
New scheme next to O2 HQ
A new speculative office scheme at Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin 2, is expected to complete during the coming months. James Place will be situated next to the new HQ for O2 and will provide 4,412 sq m (47,491 sq ft) of space. The letting agents are Hamilton Osborne King and HT Meagher O’Reilly.
